We spent a very enjoyable two hours on a walking tour through the 'freedom trail' with Stephen. He described the events with great enthusiasm and humour. Our group of 4 agreed unanimously that it was one of the best walking tours we had been on. Highly recommended.

Stephen really knows his history and clearly loves his city — it was a joy to join his tour and to learn more about Boston, especially all of its numerous scandals! I would highly recommend his tour, which is packed full of information.

Stephen is an excellent storyteller with an encyclopedic knowledge of Boston and all its history. The tour was brilliant, engaging and very informative; it covered the entire history of Boston's development through the ages rather than just the usual Freedom Trail.

We were glad to meet Stephen for this very personal and entertaining tour. It is very interesting to listen his stories about Boston's history filled with a lot of entertaining details and his knowledge about the origin and development of Boston is impressive. Although we are not native English speakers we could follow his presentation very well.

Still talking about this tour the next day! Stephen is engaging, entertaining, and whip smart! One of the very best city tours we've ever taken, covering settlement to modern days in a witty, brisk narrative that kept everyone's full attention throughout.

Stephen possesses an extraordinary depth of knowledge of history, architecture, art, culture and literature, the many details of which he weaves into an absolutely illuminating presentation.
He fluidly describes so many of the major and minor players in history-specific, but not limited to Boston, and makes connections between them which stretch from centuries ago to the present day. He generously makes recommendations for further study and additional historical sites to visit as well. Fabulous.

Stephen KNOWS his Boston and Massachusetts’ history!
He not only knows the “normal history” that you would expect from a tour guide, but he enlivens his presentation with many anecdotes and interesting stories!
At the conclusion of the tour, we understood the unique personalities involved and their passion. We realized the nuances and how history can be influenced by a single pull of a trigger or a graphic on a broadside that received broad distribution.

This was not at all what I expected from a Boston walking tour, I'm not a frequent reviewer but the guide Stephen gave such an informed, passionate and often hilarious tour, full of the well known stories like the Boston Massacre and Tea Party but made delightful by all the added information.
I especially loved how he would go from Washington and Franklin to Charles Ponzi and John Wilkes Booth without missing a beat. A must do if you visit Boston!

The tour of Boston left a very positive impression. I really enjoyed the relaxed and humorous presentation style. The guide shared not only well-known facts but also interesting, lesser-known details that made the walk around the city genuinely engaging.
I especially appreciated the guide's professionalism and attentive attitude toward the guests. Thank you for an interesting and informative tour! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Boston
