Kevin White Statue, Boston

I really enjoyed the story of Boston told along the freedom trail walking tour with Stephen. Even in the rain, we managed to see so much and learned so many interesting facts about Boston! Our guide was super knowledgeable and had lots of good anecdotes. I loved that it was a wider history of Boston, all the way from the beginnings of the city to more modern day history. I recommend to anyone looking for a tour of this cool city.

Old South Meeting Hall, Boston

We went on a guided walking tour called the Story of Boston Told along the Freedom Trail, with Stephen as our guide. it was a very impressive and fun performance. a two -hour one man show which is witty and informative. One person in our group knew hardly anything about American/Boston history while two were lifelong Bostonians and history buffs, all found it enjoyable and learned things. go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Step Into History on Boston's State Street

Stephen Uys, Tour Guide, Boston

After roaming the world and the United States, I settled in Boston twenty-five years ago, where I instantly fell in love with the people, the town and its fascinating history, As luck would have it, I was gifted a library of the history of Boston going back to its earliest days. A novelist, journalist and voracious reader, I set about deciphering our past.

It is this passion that makes THE STORY OF BOSTON TOLD ON THE FREEDOM TOUR so rich. Not a history lesson, but a deep dive into the true story of our fascinating town.

I would love to have you join me on an unforgettable walk through historic Boston.
